How to prepare:

  1. First of all, you need to pour the washed pearl barley a small amount of warm water and leave it for a couple of hours for the swelling.

  3. Remove the resulting "cap" of foam and load into the boiling broth soaked grits.

How to prepare:

How to prepare:

  1. In a saucepan, pour 3 cups of water and put it on fire.
  2. When the liquid starts to boil, put into the swollen pearl barley and cook it for half an hour.
  3. Then add to Perlovka diced potatoes and cook for another 20 minutes.
  4. Onions finely chop and fry in butter.
  5. Put it in the soup along with the cheeses.
  6. Salt broth.
  7. Boil barley, onions and cheese 7-10 minutes.
  8. Before serving, add the soup parsley, dill or chives.
