Recently CHOCOLATE ACADEMYTM Education Center held national qualifying round of the competition World Chocolate Masters 2013 among all Russian chocolatiers. Topic "Architecture of Taste" was selected for the national qualifying rounds. Participants were required to submit to the jury chocolate sculpture, chocolates, gastronomic chocolate dessert and multi-layered chocolate cake.
The first competition took place in Vladimir Terentyev, chef chocolatier "Kempinski". On the competition, as well as how to prepare handmade chocolates, said the winner. Watch the video! The composition of the jury included representatives of Russian and European pastry schools that evaluated competitive works for taste, design and technique. Chocolate figure estimated in the categories "artistic craftsmanship" and "corresponds to the given topic". Chairman of the jury was the famous Russian pastry Alexander Seleznev, European school represented Laurent Bursa (Laurent Bourcier) from "Volkonsky" and Guillaume Joly (Guillaume Joly) Executive Chef of the hotel Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow. The authoritative jury also included the president of the Moscow Association of Cooks Tamara Sharov and Vice-President of the Moscow Association of Cooks Lydia Kolesnikov.
